Zircon
Description
ZirconZircon occurs in a wide range of colors. This stone has an attractive color in person, which almost resembles Smoky Quartz, but with a golden overtone in spots. It's nearly eye clean with an "Oval Brilliant" cut. This is a lovely shade for Zircon, especially in a stone this size. You don't see these gems on the market very often, and typically the Sri Lankan Zircons are either green or yellow, so this is a rare color from this country. Don't miss this
Specimen # BOL711B29
but I honestly haven’t seen many of them
Don't miss out on this beautiful and rare gem of this well-known Opal variety
almost organic appearance of the twins is really unique and pleasing to the eye
but more importantly put these specimens on the map as some of the world's best
A worthwhile display specimen from what is actually the largest tin deposit in the world
A couple of secondary complimenting Spinels are visible on the specimen to really round it out
and nothing to ever come out of Prospect Park again (the quarry is closed and has been filled in for a housing development) and no other sources of gem material available
First is the overall quality
Tourmalines are one of the few gems that occur in natural bi-color stones
prismatic crystal of Hubnerite with a few GEM quality Quartz crystals (one of which is doubly terminated)
